Monarch Band

The Band with Band Crawler is the ideal tool for flame cutting pipe, when there is a minimum amount of clearance, in the trench or in a pipe run. The stainless steel Band provides a track that is square to the OD of the pipe on which the crawler tracks to cut the pipe. The Band crawler follows the precision flexible Band producing consistent bevel on severely out-of-round horizontal or vertical pipe as the band forms to the pipe shape. The heavy-duty Latching Mechanism of the band permits fast installation and closure of the band on the pipe regardless of the diameter. Alignment fingers on the band ends provide a positive closure and alignment of the band on the pipe.

The stainless steel Band with Band Crawler with Flex drive cable or motor is an excellent tool for use in tight areas that need pipe repair or removal as it requires only 10 1/2” (267mm) of clearance. The Crawler profile can be lower to 6” (152.4mm) of radial clearance by using the right angle drive adapter.

Bands are available for pipe sizes 6” – 60” (152 – 1524mm). Bands for odd sizes of pipe and pipe larger than 60” (1524mm) are available upon request. For increase versatility the Crawler is available with 9' or 14' flexible drive cable, 115vac, 230vac & 90vdc motorizing kits, Rack Adjustable Torch Arm or Double Torch Arm.

The lightweight Band and Band Crawler enables one-man operation on pipe diameters as large as 60” (1524mm). One Band Crawler fits all Band sizes, regardless of the range of pipe sizes to be cut or beveled.
